Skin Disorders & Eczema
Monica, who works closely with the National Eczema Society, has helped many people overcome the knock-on effects of eczema through hypnotherapy – in particular helping with the common psychological and physical symptoms presented by eczema e.g. the management and control of the pain, discomfort and itch that eczema brings together with relaxation and stress relief.

Hypnotherapy when used for sufferers of skin disorders is an extremely helpful tool and aims to allow the sufferer to take control of any itching, discomfort and pain and everything else that goes with these conditions, such as stress, self confidence, low self-esteem, anxiety and any fears or phobias that arise as a ‘by-product’ of the illness. Many people with skin disorders often have a negative body image and so they get themselves into a vicious cycle where their stress and negative emotions can drive their skin condition.

Hypnotherapy has been proven to be most effective when used for both Chronic and Acute pain relief, discomfort and itching and self-body image.

The following case study details a ‘life in the day of’ a young lady who has been living with negative effects of eczema since being born, which at times had made life unbearable. That was until recently when, for the first time, she experienced hypnotherapy which has made a huge contribution to the overall management of her condition and finally given her the confidence to start living life to the full!

Unfortunately yes. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment or don’t show up for your appointment we charge up to 100% of our fee. We need to do this because each appointment is precious and you would be preventing someone else having that slot. I’m sure you understand.
